Scott L. LaBarge

Scott L. LaBarge (Skippy), 68, of West Chazy, passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

He was born on May 22, 1956 to Amos and Doris (Ladue) LaBarge. Scott attended Northern Adirondack Central School. He worked as a carpenter and roofer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.

Scott is predeceased by his parents and his sisters Alverda Seymour and Angline Seymour.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tracey; children, Tara (Andrew) Hemingway, Kristi LaBarge (Hugh Gordon), and Ashley (Jermaine) Lowman; grandchildren, Hannah, Lucas and Ian Hemingway, Alexis Rabideau, Sophia LaBarge, Jonathan and Emilie King; great granddaughter, Amelia Holmes; siblings, Joann (Leon) Seymour, John (Luanne) LaBarge, Linda Brown, Carl LaBarge, Raymond (Mary) LaBarge, Keith LaBarge, Shelley (Steven) Slocum, Earl LaBarge; brother-in-law Brooke Brown, and several nieces, nephews and close friends.

At Scott’s request, there will be no calling hours.

Donations in Scott’s memory can be made to American Cancer Society Hope Lodge or Hospice of the North Country.
