Stephen R Peryer, 61, of Peryer Rd West Chazy, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by family, as a result of his short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Stephen was born on October 5, 1958. He began his career in construction over 30 years ago. He started as a Laborer and excelled in carpentry, soon joining the Carpenter’s Union Local 1042. He worked for several contractors during this time before he retired.
Stephen was an avid outdoorsmen- he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and rabbit hunting with his Beagles. Stephen always kept busy and enjoyed working around his home and in his garden. He loved taking rides throughout the Adirondacks, especially on his Harley. His greatest loves were his family, and he was proud to be a Papa/Pepe to his Grand-daughters.
Stephen was predeceased by his Grandparents; Oveldia and Marie “Hattie” Boulerice, and Clarence and Catherine Peryer.
Stephen is survived by his “old lady”, Jeanne Peryer, who was his supportive sidekick. His daughters; Christina Peryer and her wife, Katie, and Ashley Allen, her husband David, and the girls Calla and Alaire. His step-daughter, Michele Garrant, her companion John Cappon, and their daughters Molly and Madalyn. His granddaughters Amirah Allen and Mackenzie Gardner. And his beloved Beagle, Little Boy.
Due to Stephen’s wishes, no services will be held. The family would like to thank the Nurses of Hospice, Becky, Brandy, and Heather, for aiding during this difficult time- any donations can be made to Hospice of the North Country.
