Steven A. LaPierre, 77, of Mooers, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

 

Steven was born May 16, 1947 in Attleboro, MA, the son of Armand and Melinda (Zielke) LaPierre.

 

Steven joined the United States Army in 1966 after graduating high school. He was honorably discharged in 1972. Steven worked as a Critical Care Tech at CVPH Medical Center for ten years.

 

Steven enjoyed photography, but he was a music enthusiast. While he enjoyed listening to music, he loved even more playing the drums and the keyboard in a band while living in Massachusetts as well as in his free time.

 

Steven is survived by his wife, Denise (Dubuc) LaPierre; godchildren, Michelle Girardi, Jason Sartini, Hunter Bechard and Evan Dubuc; as well as other extended family.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Mooers Forks. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Christ and St. John’s Church, 18 Butternut Street, Champlain, NY 12919.
