Verda M. LaValley-Fagan, 83, of Mooers Forks, passed away Monday, May 12, 2025 in Burlington, VT.
Verda was born February 24, 1942 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Edward and Della (Duprey) Dupee.
Verda had many hobbies she enjoyed in her spare time, but she loved to crochet and she loved hunting.
Verda was predeceased by her parents; her first husband, Clarence LaValley Sr.; a son, Clarence LaValley Jr.; brothers, William Dupee, Russell Dupee, James Dupee and John Dupee; sisters, Lena Claussen, Betty Babbie and Jane Hemmingway; as well as three grandchildren, Bobby LaValley, Carl LaValley Jr. and Kevin LaValley.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Fagan of Mooers Forks; sons, Carl LaValley and his wife, Michelle of Altona and Charles LaValley of Mooers; a daughter, Valerie LaValley of West Chazy; sisters, Ruth Behan and her husband, Ernie, and Viola Castine; and grandchildren, Jennifer Blair, Donna LaValley, Caroline Ficociello and her husband, Ryan, Joseph LaValley, Kaysie Oliver and her husband, Matt, Shonna LaValley, Dylan LaValley and his wife Larissa, Charles LaValley Jr., John Juneau, Kim Juneau and Jessica Turner.
The family will be having a Private Prayer Service at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at Carl and Michelle's house, 610 Woods Falls Road, Altona, for those who would like to attend.
